Every signed-in account gets 80 minutes of audio on a rolling 30-day cycle. The cycle is anchored to the day you first created your account, and any unused time expires when the next cycle starts.
1 second of audio uses 1 second of your allowance. A 61-second file uses 61 seconds. There is no rounding — short clips never get billed as a full minute.

You have two options: wait for the next 30-day cycle to refresh, or upgrade to a paid plan for a bigger monthly allowance. Transcripts you already produced stay in your history either way.
When a paid plan is refunded, the matching amount of minutes is deducted from your account. The deduction is applied against the minutes you have already used in the current cycle, so it can never push your used count below zero.
